CLANTRACKER
FAQ

QUESTIONS,
ANSWERED.

Everything about setup, pricing, data, and how the bot actually works.
Getting started
How do I set this up?
Add the bot to your Discord server, then every player runs /register with their Riot ID (game name + tagline). That's it — the bot pulls in your recent history and starts posting the next time you play. No admin configuration required to get going, though admins can set a dedicated channel and pick a personality.
Which game modes does it track?
Competitive only. Every card, leaderboard, rivalry, and recap uses the same worldview — swiftplay and unrated games don't count toward any of it. This is a deliberate choice, not a limitation: it keeps every number on the site comparable to every other number.
Is there a limit on registered players?
10 players per server by default. If your clan is bigger than that, reach out — limits can be raised for specific servers.
Pricing
What's actually free?
Game recaps, the leaderboard, rivalry tracking, and weekly recaps — all fully functional, forever, at no cost. The only thing gated is the AI-written narrative layer (personality-driven commentary, AI rivalry insights, AI weekly awards). Free servers get 10 AI tokens to try that layer, plus template-based versions of everything that never expire.
What does Pro add?
Unlimited AI-generated commentary after every game, your choice of personality (Banter, Hype, Clean, or Brainrot), AI-written rivalry insights, AI weekly awards and verdicts, and the full Act Wrapped finale experience. It's €10/month per server, cancel anytime — the server simply reverts to the free tier's template versions at the end of the paid period.
Can I try Pro before paying?
Yes — every free server starts with 10 AI tokens, enough to see a handful of real AI-written summaries before deciding.
Data & privacy
Does the bot read my Discord messages?
No. ClanTracker runs on Discord's minimal permission scope — it only ever sees the slash commands you send it directly. It has no access to channel conversations.
What happens to my data if I stop using it?
/unregister immediately stops tracking and unlinks you from that server. It doesn't automatically erase your historical match data (so it doesn't retroactively break your clan's shared rivalry ledgers), but you can request full deletion at any time — see the Privacy Policy for how.
Can someone register my account without my permission?
You're only supposed to register a Riot account you own — it's against the Terms of Service to register someone else's. If it happens anyway, contact us and we'll unlink and remove it.
How the AI works
Is the commentary actually accurate?
Every stat cited in a summary is real and pulled directly from match data — the AI is explicitly forbidden from inventing numbers, weapons, or clutch situations that didn't happen. The framing and jokes, though, are AI-generated and meant as entertainment, not an official record.
Are enemy players named?
Never. Non-registered enemy players are referred to only by the agent they played — never by username. This is a hard rule, not a setting.
What's the difference between the personality modes?
Same match, same real stats — different voice. Banter is sharp and unfiltered, Hype is pure celebration, Clean reads like a factual match report, and Brainrot is exactly what it sounds like. Your server's admins pick one; it applies to every AI-generated post.
Reliability
What if Riot's data provider goes down?
The Service depends on a third-party Valorant data API, which has its own rate limits and occasional outages. If it's degraded, match detection may be delayed rather than instant — but nothing is lost; the bot catches up once the provider recovers.
Will the bot ever double-post the same recap?
No — every scheduled post (weekly recaps especially) is protected by a dedup check, so a restart or redeploy on our end can't cause the same recap to fire twice.
